Sisal is grown in 40 municipalities in the semiarid region of Bahia. The "Sisal Region" is the poorest state - third of the 1.4 million inhabitants live in relation to the production and extraction of the fiber. The production of carpets, rugs and mats aims to reduce poverty levels and improve living conditions.
The quality of carpets, rugs and mats and the concern for environmental preservation drive our growth. Sisal fiber is a natural product and, when discarded decomposes without polluting nature, unlike the synthetic products. In addition, any profit from sales of carpets and mats APAEB is reinvested in environmental projects, see more at www.apaeb.com.br.
